Challenge
A global generic and specialty pharmaceutical company had the task of incorporating data that was handed over to them from a different pharmaceutical company via an acquisition to their new Documentum for Life Sciences environment. A critical legal timeline was set to complete the hand over of this data as there would no longer be access to the source data after this date.

»We were challenged by an acquisition to gather extractions of data from a source system in a very tight timeline. There was a hard deadline to obtain this data in order to further process it for the import into our new systems. The fme project team worked to ensure this data was successfully gathered within the deadline and migration-center was used to help parse the data and migrate it to our new solution with appropriate mappings as well as enable the ability to map legacy data as-is and have it remain searchable.«
