AWS Alexa and Documentum
»Alexa, please open OpenText Documentum!« With simple voice commands like this, users of OpenText Documentum can now have their documents opened by the digital voice assistant Amazon Alexa, have them read aloud to them and now even have them translated into other languages in real time. This is made possible by a showcase in which the digitization experts at fme have connected a newly written Alexa skill to OpenText Documentum via serverless services such as AWS Lambda and an interface.

The Virtual Business Assistant (VBA) is an avatar based on a 3D service from Amazon Web Services (AWS) that can be fully integrated into all AWS services. This enables a wide variety of business scenarios and use cases to be visualized and individualized and mapped in different languages and gestures. The seamless integration of 3D, chatbot, machine learning and data services makes it possible to focus energy on the technical design of digital assistance systems.
